Diabetes and Lipid Clinic of Alaska

Tiffany Shock

As a medical technologist, Tiffany runs the laboratory at Diabetes & Lipid Clinic of Alaska.

A military brat, she was born in Florida before moving to Nebraska, then on to Eielson AFB in Alaska. Tiffany graduated from high school in Anchorage before trying out pastry school in Seattle, Washington. From there she decided she’d rather work in a more academic field and pursued a bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science.

After graduating in December 2013, Tiffany moved to Hawaii where she worked for one of Hawaii’s busiest laboratories. After a year away from home and missing the cold weather, she moved back to Alaska after accepting a position with Dr. Tanner where she has since been helping to establish a one-stop laboratory for the clinic.
